A subsidiary of Jacobs Engineering, Jacobs Technology provides advanced technology engineering services to government, commercial aerospace, and automotive industry clients worldwide including NASA, DOD and DOE.
The firm won a new contract and quickly needed to acquire an office space rental and used office furniture in Michigan to get a team of 40 set up and ready to go as soon as possible. Used cubicles are an ideal office furniture solution when the need is temporary, the budget is tight, and the timeline is yesterday.
Our office space planner did a test fit to determine optimal desk sizes and the most efficient office layout based on the office square footage available. Then our pre-owned office furniture team searched their inventories in the region for collaborative workspace furniture. And voila! A lot of used Haworth cubicles ticked all the boxes: practical, presentable, affordable, and available.

The preowned office furniture system was successful in meeting our customer’s functional and budgetary requirements, but most importantly: unlike longer lead times associated with new office furniture we were able to have these shipped and completed the office furniture assembly in less than two weeks, ready for the team to plug & play.
