Statement
Originating from the Salinas Valley, Pacific International grows organic & conventional produce on over 25,000 acres throughout California, Arizona and Mexico.
They hired our office interiors team to assist them with their rapid expansion into additional open office space in California. To keep in line with the company’s values we optimized the office space plan to be a thoughtful, healthy workplace for employees.
Spacious 8’x10’ U-shaped workstations for the administrative teams include a corner height adjustable desk, ergonomically curved desktops, and two filing pedestals for document storage.
To accommodate interactive workflows of the sales & marketing teams we used dogbone cubicle configurations with short cubicle walls, 120-degree sit and stand electrical rising desks, and a 2-drawer lateral file island on each corner for ample storage and convenient shared desk space.
Befitting of management's open-door policy and emphasis on transparency, all semi-private cubicle offices have clear glass cubicle walls and open entries instead of cubicle doors. This approach to the office design keeps it open and welcoming, while also affording the managers visual access to their teams.
We strategically placed 67”H fabric partition walls for office filing cabinet storage. The visual barrier of the L-shaped tall cubicle walls provides a clean appearance and extra privacy for the HR & accounting documents contained within the cabinets.
For the office color palette, a monochromatic blend of black, white, and charcoal establishes a sense of sophistication and distinct continuity throughout the office space.
