Statement
Halcyon is a real estate and property management agency for residential rentals. They strive to provide top-level service with a focus on maximizing investor return while providing residencies that tenants enjoy building their lives in.
The client needed office furnishings for their small office in Brooklyn including workstation desks for a team of five. With very limited office square footage we created a custom office furniture layout to suit two areas with spatial limitations.
We used simple modular office furniture components to create two 5.5’ x 6.5’ L shaped desks with storage drawers. The narrow office made it tricky to provide sufficient workspace for a team of three. Luckily designing a small office is nothing new to our design team – bring on the blindfolds!
We specified two small workstations for the junior staff and made the most of the back wall by devising a custom sized wall to wall desk with return for their manager. We also added a 7’ counter height wall mounted table with square desk legs to function as an occasional standing height desk.
Strategically placed 67” tall grey cubicle panels (mounted to the wall for stability) add an element of privacy between work areas.
